| When immediate contaminant
capture directly at the source must be achieved, the electrocorp Table
Top Evac-Chamber captures gasses and particulate from work surfaces before
they escape into the room’s air volume. Sized to meet your requirement,
an Evac-Chamber is available for any size and model electrocorp RSU Air
Scrubber. Contaminated air is drawn from the chamber via a connecting
duct and blown into circular filters inside the accompanying RSU.
Cleaned air is ejected 360 degrees laterally out of the RSU and returned
back into the room. The RSU’s carbon filter is efficient in removing
approximately 90% of most volatile organic compounds, and other gasses
and odors before the air is returned to the room. Various media filters
that can accompany an Evac-Chamber for removing airborne particulate from
your air stream consist of the following efficiencies: 60% at 10
microns, 90% at one micron, 99% at one micron, or 99.97% at .3 microns.
Air that has been heated or cooled, and now cleaned, remains in the room. |
